Becky and her girls

It Began the Friday of Memorial Day weekend I went to my general physician to complain again about my "asthma". Everything we were doing was not working to help my annoying cough. He ordered a chest xray and that's when we found two mysterious masses on my lungs. I immediately phoned a good friend, Dr. Anne Merkow, for advice and she pulled some amazing strings and over the course of the Memorial Day Weekend, I had a CAT scan and met with a pulmonologist. Then things sped up light speed the following week as I underwent a biopsy, a PET scan, met my new lung surgeon, underwent another biopsy and was finally diagnosed on Thursday, June 4th. I have Stage 3 Lung Cancer. No one knows how or why, since I am a non-smoker. But that is irrelevant. I am strong. I will beat this. I will be a new and better person a year from now. Please read my journal for more updates on my treatments and condition. Thank you for all of your support and love. Ron, Millie, Emma and I could not make this journey without you. Love, Beccee
